Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe about to visit

Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Minister of Vatican Missionary Works, will pay a visit to Viet Nam from November 28 to December 5 at the invitation of the Viet Nam Episcopal Council, according to the Vietnamese Government’s Committee for Religious Affairs.

(VNS, 25-11-2005) HA NOI — During the visit, Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe and his delegation will visit Ha Noi, Hue and HCM City, as well as the provinces of Quang Tri, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Dong Nai.

He will attend a priest ordination ceremony in Ha Noi, chair a ceremony to set up a new diocese in Ba Ria, meet with Most Venerable Thich Tri Quang (Buddhism) and Parson Huynh Thien Buu (Protestantism), and take part in religious activities at the above-mentioned localities.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan is scheduled to receive Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe and his delegation.
